Ingredients:
4 tomatoes
1/2 cup coconut
1 onion
2 tablespoon oil
1/4 mustard seeds
Few curry leaves
1/2 tsp pepper powder
Few coriandar leaves
Salt to taste
Method:
- Chop tomatoes and onion into small pieces.
- Grate the coconut.Heat oil in a large saucepan.
- Add mustard seeds, allow it to splutter.
- Fry onion and curry leaves, until onion turn brown.
- Add tomatoes and grated coconut and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add pepper powder, coriandar leaves and salt and fry for 2 minutes.
- Now it is ready to serve.
Alterations:
- You can also prepare simple tomato salad.
- Chop 2-3 tomatoes and 1 onion into very small pieces.
- Mix both tomatoes and onion.
- Add salt and pepper powder according to taste.
- It is delicious to serve with ghee rice.
