Here's a recipe of chicken tikka masala.
Ingredients to marinate the chicken:
1/2kg boneless chicken
4 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 cup yogurt, beaten well
Salt to taste
Method to prepare this recipe:
Step 1:
Marinate the chicken:
- Chop the chicken into small pieces.
- In a bowl, combine all the above ingredients.
- Add chicken pieces and mix well.
- Marinate for 2-3 hours.
Step 2:
- Fry the marinated chicken in oil for about 15 minutes.
- Follow step 3.
3 tsp oil1 onion, chopped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp garam masala powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tomato puree
2 cups warm water
Salt to taste
Few coriander leaves, minced
Step 3:
- Heat oil in large saucepan.
- Fry onion, ginger garlic paste for 3 minutes, until onion turn into brown.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala.
- After 2 minutes, add tomato puree and mix well.
- Add warm water and salt, allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
- Then, add fried chicken into it and let it for a couple of minutes.
- Finally, add coriander powder and fry it for a minute.
Step 4:
- Now it is ready to serve hot.
