Ingredients:
List 1:
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
Few curry leaves
1 small onion, chopped
1 small tomato, chopped
1 cup chopped beans
1 big capsicum, chopped
1 small carrot, chopped
1 cup green peas
1 small potato, chopped
1 small cabbage, chopped
1 cup chopped cauliflower
List 2:
2 tsp red chilli powder
8 green chillies
2 tsp coriander powder (dhaniya)
1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp cardomom powder
1/2 cumin powder
10-12 cashews
1/2 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
2 tsp coriander seeds
List 3:
2 tsp tamarind pulp
1 tsp sugar
Method:
- Heat oil in a saucepan.
- Fry all the ingredients in list 2 in oil.
- Add all the ingredients of list 3 to it, grind them and make into thin paste.
- Again in a large saucepan, heat oil and add all the ingredients in list 1, one after another, fry for 10 minutes.
- Add the grinded paste and mix well.
- Add enough water (2-3 cups) and allow it to boil for 10 minutes, until all the vegetables has been cooked.
- Serve with chapathi.
