Ingredients:
List 1:
2 medium sized capsicum, chop into small pieces
2 cups of oil
List 2:
1 cup gramflour
1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp rice flour
a pinch of baking soda
1 tsp cumin powder (jeera)
1/4 tsp red food colour
a pinch of ingu (asafoetida)
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients in list 2 in a bowl.
- Add water and make into a paste.
- Heat oil in a large saucepan.
- Dip 3-4 capsicum pieces in the paste, and fry in the oil for 5 minutes.
- Repeat step 4 for remaining pieces.
- Serve hot.
