CHICKEN 65

Chicken 65 is an excellent recipe to make for a romantic evening for two or for a crowd as it is simple and elegant!

Ingredients:

6-8 chicken leg pieces
4 tsp oil
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 cup yougurt (curd)
2 tsp coriander powder (dhaniya powder)
1/4 tsp red food colour
Few curry leaves
Salt to taste

Method:

  • Fry onion and curry leaves in oil (1 tsp) and keep aside.
  • Fry chicken pieces in water for 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix all the other ingredients.
  • Then, add water to make into a paste.
  • Apply the paste to fried chicken pieces and marinate for 2-3 hours.
  • Heat remaining oil in a large saucepan, for 2 minutes.
  • Fry marinated chicken in oil, about 5 minutes.
  • Add fried onions and ready to serve hot.
